You are responsible for knowing and understanding all the information below.

  • By booking with Ashes, you are agreeing to give full artistic freedom to the artist.

    PLEASE NOTE:
    — Consultations are taken year round, however, they are only reviewed every 3 months (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec)
    — To submit multiple ideas, you will need to submit multiple consultation requests.
    — Approval for consultations is only valid for one 3 month booking cycle. You will need to resubmit your idea next cycle.
    If your consultation is approved but you are unable to secure an appointment you will need to resubmit and get re-approved for your idea during the next booking cycle
    — Ashes only take projects that can fit into their style (creepy, cute, illustrative).
    — All consultations will get an email response, whether approved or rejected.
    Please do not email asking for a response if you have not gotten one yet.

    A Note Regarding Travel Locations & Consultations:
    Consultations will be reviewed once location has been chosen.

  • All bookings are first come first serve & are subject to change.
    Consultations are accepted year round. However, they are only reviewed once every 3 months (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec)
    - Once all consultations are reviewed, Ashes will select the projects they are most interested in.
    - Those projects will be allowed 1 month to book their appointments for the next 3 month cycle. (ex: receive a booking email in September for October, November, & December appointments)

    Accepted Consultations Receive:
    — Booking access
    — Important appointment information - must read prior to booking.
    — Estimated number of Full & Half Day appointments. To calculate your estimate for your piece, please use the equation listed under “Pricing” below.

    Once accepted and given access to booking, your booking access will be left open for 1 month. Please figure out your budget and timeline for the project.
    Appointment availability goes quickly. Please be sure to schedule your appointment in a timely fashion.

    Pre-Design Purchases, Existing Appointments, & On-Going Pieces will be given Priority Booking.
    - If you are given Priority Booking, you will receive information to book your next appointment 2 weeks prior to all approvals being sent out. As mentioned previously, these bookings go quickly. Please be sure to secure your appointment as soon as you are ready.
    If you are on the Priority Booking list and are unable to get an appointment within the two week period between receiving the email and all approvals being sent out, please send an email to booking@ashesbardole.com.

    DESIGN PREVIEWS:
    — NO previews of custom designs will be shown before appointments
    — Designs are not to be taken to any other artist to be tattooed.

  • Main travel locations (will be visited at least once a year if not more):

    Denver, CO

    Salt Lake City, UT

    Los Angeles, CA

    New York City, NY

    Other one-off travel locations will be announced once every 6 months through email and social media. Please enter your email address at the bottom of the site to stay up-to-date on travel locations and updates.

    For one-off locations:

    — Client must complete project during one trip or be willing to travel to another main location to finish.

    — No reschedules. Some locations will only be traveled to once, rescheduling may not be an option. Please reach out if you are willing to travel to another location as well.

    Not every location will be visited every 3 months. Selection will be based on demand and Ashes’ preference of travel location.

  • Ashes Offers Two Appointment Types — Full Day and Half Day.
    Full Day appointments are 8 hours, while Half Day appointments are 4 hours.
    * If you are able to sit for 8 hours you will receive the best price for your tattoo *

    If your idea is approved, you can use the following equation to estimate a total cost of your piece.
    (Full or Half Day Rate) x (No. of Appointments Needed)

    PLEASE NOTE:
    Ashes OVERESTIMATES for pieces, so clients can be well prepared ahead of time.

  • Deposits are a necessary commitment associated with getting tattoo and keeping your appointment. Your deposit will be taken off of the last hour of your last tattoo appointment.

    DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
    Under no circumstance will a deposit be refunded.

    The Following Will Result in Loss of Deposit.
    To continue to book further appointments, you will need to leave a new deposit.
    - Continuously cancelling &/or rescheduling appointments: Cancelling your appointment more than 1x in a row will result in loss of deposit.

    Loss of Deposit & Blacklisting (unable to work with Ashes moving forward):
    - No Call (do not call 48hrs before your appointment to reschedule or cancel)
    &/Or
    - No Show (do not show up for your appointment)
    - Misuse of discount codes &/or the booking system.

    MULTI-SESSION & DISCOUNT CODE:
    This code will be included in your approval email. To use your Discount Code:
    1. You must leave a deposit on your first appointment booked
    &/or
    2. You must have already left a deposit.

    REMINDER: Only use this code if your piece requires multiple sessions/appointments. The misuse of a discount code will result in your deposit being voided &/or becoming blacklisted from working with Ashes.

    You may be considered for removal of blacklisting per artist discretion.

  • You will be blacklisted (no longer able to work with Ashes) for the following:
    - No Call/No Show
    - Misuse of discount codes
    - Sharing booking passwords with others
    - Sharing discount codes with others
    - Inappropriate behavior/sexism/homophobia/racism/disrespect to Ashes or other clients/artists.

  • Keep the first wrap of Second Skin on for 3-4 days.

    You must change the wrap as soon as possible if:
    - Blood or plasma is leaking out from the bandage
    - Water gets from outside to inside the bandage
    - Part of the tattoo is exposed
    - Additional redness or itching happens within 30 min of applying the bandage

    After 3-4 days, remove the second skin at the end of a warm shower. Be sure to:
    -
    Wash your hands then wash the tattoo
    - Let the tattoo air dry then reapply Second Skin
    - Leave the second bandage on for an additional 6-7 day

    In addition, please note the following:
    -
    Do not Soak or submerge your tattoo in water for 2 weeks
    - NO: swimming, hot tubbing, baths, water sports (a shower is fine)
    - No sun during the 2 week heal time, once healed use sunscreen or cover your tattoos from sun damage.
    - No sweat, keep exercise and physical activity to a minimum, if you get sweat build up under the bandage you may cause an infection or acne
    - If redness appears around the edges of the bandage, peel back the bandage and cut the extra bandage off

    Touch Ups:
    Your first touch up is free, you do not need to leave a deposit to book this appointment.
    After your first touch up it will cost 50% the current hourly rate

  • Sharing a curated Pinterest Board with at least 4 reference images is required when submitting your consultation request(s). You will need to create a new Pinterest Board for each consultation request.

    If you are unfamiliar with Pinterest, or do not know how to create & share a Pinterest Board, you can follow the steps in the links below. It is completely free. Please share a single link for your board. Please do not send multiple links for separate pins/images.
